Hark the Herald Angels Sing Easy Piano Sheet Music
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Hark the Herald Angels Sing in two new arrangements for progressing piano students! First, the easier one:
The hands do not stay all in one place, but they don't stray too far.
Page two, with all the resounding Hark the Herald Angels Sing lyrics by Charles Wesley:
A full-sounding arrangement
For students who are comfortable with chord inversions, this vigorous arrangement will be doable:
Really, make sure your students can play chord inversions! There are several repetitions of cadence patterns in this arrangement.

All on one page
The version below is just like the one above, but condensed onto one page... and without verses two and three of the lyrics:

A middle-C arrangement for solo or duet
And below, an arrangement not for brand-new beginners, but for:
- piano students starting to feel comfortable reading notes around the Middle C area, and
- who know the melody already, preferably, so the rhythm is not an issue
Unlike many melodies set around Middle C, this song arrangement will not allow thumbs to share Middle C.
The right hand is called upon to play a high A, so the right hand thumb is (I suggest) best placed on note D.

All three of the verses of the lyrics are here. These words, penned almost three hundred years ago,

Do angels sing?
I think so! In the book of Job, look what we find in chapter 38...
God speaks to Job:
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

I recently purchased your arrangement of The Moldau (a longtime favorite of mine).
I wasn't sure if any of my students would be interested in it, but to my amazement 3 of my students LOVE it. Thank you so much for making your great arrangement.
